Special Education for the needy and marginalised

NRI works with various populations like deaf, speech impaired, developmentally disabled and behaviorally challenged children, adults and elderly and their family members. Our agency provides them special education in the context of their individual disability. The purpose of this education is making them as independent as possible so that can lead a meaningful life in the community without being having a stigma of disability. Our agency helps them to receive hearing aid, speech therapy, behavioral therapy, and vocational guidance to earn an adequate living. We do evaluate their weaknesses and strengths based on their developmental, social, emotional, physical, vocational and housing needs. We help in coordination their care and help them and their families to find solutions to their problems in collaboration with other professionals, agencies, individuals and family members. NRI’s special education agenda also focuses on specified issues such as gender discrimination in the preparation for their proper social, emotional and functional rehabilitation in living their lives to the optimum level of their capacities
